In a ceremony nearly eight years in the making, the whiskey-throated British rock star and leggy blonde model swapped vows in a cloistered medieval abbey at La Cervara near Portifino, on the Italian Riviera.

The wedding took place at sunset, according to publicist for Stewart’s label, J Records.

“The couple exchanged vows in the presence of 100 family and friends,” the rep said. “Dinner, dancing, and fireworks lasted until the early hours.” The guests included Stewart’s daughter Kimberley.

A lower-key affair took place the following day at a 17th-century villa in the town of Santa Margherita Ligure.
